HashWatch is an honest guide to legit ways to earn and save money — crypto yield, real-estate investing apps, cashback, get-paid apps, sign-up bonuses, and more. Our whole job is to tell you the truth, including the parts most “make money online” sites leave out.
Most sites in this space are affiliate farms in disguise: they list every platform that pays them, rank by commission, and go quiet the moment a user gets stiffed. We built HashWatch to be the opposite — a place where the rating comes first and the affiliate link comes second, and where the platforms we’d tell a friend to avoid are named on our watchlist instead of hidden.
What we stand for
- Receipts, not hype. Real numbers, realistic returns, and honest caveats — including when something isn’t worth your time.
- No gambling, ever. We don’t promote casinos, sportsbooks, or anything designed to profit when you lose. It’s the one line this site will not cross.
- Your money, your call. We explain the trade-offs; we never pressure. Nothing here is financial advice.
- Risk stated plainly. Crypto is volatile, real-estate apps are illiquid, mining is a leveraged bet, and offer walls are beer money. We say so on every page it matters.
How we test and rate
We don’t rate platforms from a press release. The owner opens real accounts, moves real money, and tracks what actually happens — the fees that show up, how long a payout really takes, and whether support makes it right when something breaks. As one concrete example, we’ve earned $3,458 on Freecash across 294 completed offers, which is why our Freecash review can tell you exactly which offer types pay and which waste your time.
Freecash is just our most-documented example. We personally use platforms across the catalog — investing through Robinhood, fractional real estate via Fundrise, Ark7, and Roots, MetaMask for self-custody, and Mercury for our own business banking. Any platform we’ve verified firsthand carries a Tested badge across the site, so you can tell at a glance which ratings come from real accounts and real money versus honest research of public reports.
Every platform is graded against the same tier system (S through C) using one scorecard, so a high rating means the same thing everywhere. No platform can pay for a better score. The full rubric is public in our methodology.
How we make money
Some links on HashWatch are affiliate or referral links — if you sign up through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is what keeps the site free, and it never changes our honest assessment of a platform: our ratings, warnings, and watchlist are written first, and the link is added after. If a platform we earn from is a bad deal, we say so.
Corrections and updates
Fintech terms, fees, and bonuses change constantly, so our guides are dated and we revise them when the facts move. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it fast — accuracy matters more to us than looking polished. We’d rather correct a number than leave a reader working off stale information.
Who runs it
HashWatch is operated by Garbett Holdings LLC, a single-owner company based in Wisconsin. It’s a small, independent operation — one person spending real money on these platforms and publishing the results — not a faceless content mill. Questions or corrections? Get in touch; we read everything.
